  • Let’s celebrate the diversity of our citizens, learn about each other, be curious, be open, and be supportive.

  • Let’s introduce sensory aware times to events.

  • Let’s expand to embrace the role of new Canadians and new perspectives.

  • Let’s support English as a second language (ESL) supports.

  • Let’s work on the Regina Accessibility Plan to provide support to initiatives to put it into action.

  • Let’s support Truth and Reconciliation efforts.

3. ACCESS TO SERVICES.

  • Let’s create effortless interactions.

  • Let’s improve processes for events and facility bookings (rinks).

  • Let’s fix swimming registration.

  • Let’s have better coordination between recreational providers, to reduce conflicts.

  • Let’s increase affordability for families to participate in recreation by seeking partnerships for sponsorships.

  • Let’s have a better system for delegations, more time conscience with notification system.

    4. RESPONSIBLE GROWTH.

  • Let’s differentiate between wants and needs.

  • Let’s align priorities to community values.

  • Let’s have current budget numbers before making decisions

  • Let’s have a project intake to align project priorities to community values and budget.

  • Let’s do it right, new infrastructure construction should be done to the highest standard for accessibility and the environment. Leaving it out is more expensive in the long run.
